This is a sturdy headboard with nice fabric. I attached it to the wall with a French cleat because the toxic smell that some others reported was actually coming from the wooden boards that attach to the bed frame. Those were toxic and ugly so attaching to that wall solved those issues. I was paranoid about bedbugs after reading the reviews so I left it outside in the sun, took the black fabric off the back, used a flashlight to inspect it multiple times, sprayed it with lavender essence and set bedbug traps under it before using it- just so I could sleep without worry. So far, no bugs. Overall, it looks great and works well- just wish I didn’t have to worry about bedbugs!Replaced a queen bed with a king, needed a new headboard. This one was perfect - easy to install to the bed frame and nice neutral color that matches the bedroom decor.Good quality. Very nice, expensive looking.I love my new padded head boardIt's fine. Nothing outstanding yet, very non-descript and good quality.I read all the previous reviews and never came across anything about the color and how it is NOT beige. The color is really GOLD. Overall it's a beautiful headboard and a great value for the money. You couldn't build one for this price and that's why I bought it online instead of making my own. I will keep it though and just live with the color. But just know it's a GOLD fabric.I love the headboard! The fabric is really nice and it’s sturdy I have it in our guest room which gave it a nice comfortable complete look! Well worth every dime!! So happy I brought it!! I must be because I hardly take the time to right a review!! Love it!We love it. Preferred to go without the included posts which attach to the frame, as they didn't appear very sturdy. Instead, we used medium sized D-ring picture hangers fastened to the headboard 18" apart, then I hung the D-rings on spike nails (large nails) that were driven into the wall studs. I Pre-drilled both the small D-ring holes in the back of the headboard and the larger spike-nail holes in the wall stud. Making things easier.Pull the bed out from the wall and give yourself plenty of room to work with. Find the leftmost spot where you would like the headboard to hang, find (starting left to right) the first wall stud by using a stud finder or measure every 18" then pencil mark your spots...four, five or six D-rings depending on what size headboard you purchased. Remember, these marks are for pre-drilling your spike nail holes, (if you're unsure on stud location, use a tiny little finish-nail to double check). After you've marked your wall (before any drilling) measure exactly how far from the "leftmost" side of your headboard (where it will be once hung on the wall) to the center of your first wall stud is and transfer that measurement to the back of your headboard. Next measure from the first pencil mark on the left to second then transfer that to the back of your headboard and so on. Be sure to mark your D-ring spots low enough on the back of your headboard so as to not see the D-rings once they're 'flipped up' and hanging on the wall. A little patience and you'll be done in an hour.Note: if you're hanging the headboard by yourself you can make things more manageable by attaching 3 foot pieces of sewing thread to each spike nail head after they're set in the wall, once tied to the nail heads, run the other end of the thread through the D-rings (that are now attached to your headboard) and let them hang over the front of your headboard. Next tie that end to a washer (for weight). When it's time to lift your head board and hang it, the weight of the washers should now keep the D-rings flipped up and the D-rings will then slide right-on down the string to your spike nail heads. Also, once you've lifted the headboard and eased the D-rings down onto the nail heads you may leave the strings and washers attached, by now they should be dangling down against the front of your headboard, just lift them up and drop them behind your headboard for future need in removing and rehanging your headboard. The strings will be a little long, you can drop the washers up and over "next" nail head and not the one directly behind them. I hope this helps.Love that I can rest my remotes, two pairs of eye glasses and my phone on the top ledge. Very handy. We love our new headboard, it's great. Fit easily into our existing bed frame. The colour is great. Just like the colour the picture shows.Just be aware it's not very tall, so if you have one of those 18 inch deep mattresses plus a box spring, then you probably wouldn't want this.Delivery was exceptionally late. Could not get updates regarding delivery date which is why I gave this transaction a low review. Product itself is okay for price point. Don’t expect much quality but for a spare bedroom it’s fine. Most sellers do not list the type of fabric and colour available with headboards. Amazon did, we ordered the Modway one and it goes perfectly with the comforter and the carpet in the spare bedroom, in which it was installed. We are very satisfied with our purchase or most importantly, my wife is satisfied with the purchase.Nice quality. I put this in a second bedroom in the smaller house we built after retirement. It looks real good. Easily installed.c'est le produit qu'on s'attendait à avoir
